Welcome to Glory’s Gate Music. We are so blessed you are here. Below you will find links to some of our videos, music and downloads along with some history on why the songs were developed.
“The Passion of the Christ” is probably the best cinematic depiction of the suffering of Jesus Christ which invites all of us to reflect not only on his sacrifice but deep into ourselves and God’s endless love. This song was inspired by the final night of Christ’s life and the suffering He went through putting us before Himself.
For some reason YouTube decide this video needed to have an age restriction applied. Probably due to its patriotic element and wants to limit the viewing. We have added a Rumble link just in case YouTube wants to take further steps: Let This Glory Shine “Rumble”
‘Let This Glory Shine’ written by JT Marshall and performed by Glory’s Gate honors the Stars and Stripes and establishes it as a memorial to all who have risked their lives for the preservation of Liberty and Freedom. Many of these great men and women gave the ultimate sacrifice so we may live freely without oppression. Glory’s Gate honors them and stands with them.
“How To Do I Love You” was inspired by “I Could Only Imagine” by Mercy Me. After seeing this movie and reflecting on the foundation of that story, JT began to look back on his own life and discovered he was as broken as anyone could be. The hurt he never noticed and the patience of his loved ones brought about the words of this song. Although this song didn’t take a lifetime to write like in the movie, it was written on the reflection of a lifetime. “How to Do I Love You” isn’t a ‘How to song’. In fact its a testimony of adjustment – of life. A reflection of real life and growth. A never ending struggle to shake selfish instincts not only to say “I love you”, but to actually honor it by doing love and placing others before self.
“Pierced Through the Heart” depicts a never ending struggle between light and darkness – we are constantly swayed by an illusionist prize of life’s temptations and awaken to find ourselves lost in a sea of misery – tormented, broken and alone. Our hearts long to be with our one true love. That love which would never abandon us. Who would seek us out in the deepest darkness and shower us with understanding and forgiveness. A love that pierces the heart and brings us home. A love that only God can provide.
